Care Guide
To preserve the beauty of your wallpaper, keep it away from excessive moisture and prolonged direct sunlight. Dust gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth, and for minor marks, wipe carefully with a lightly damp, non-abrasive cloth without rubbing. Avoid harsh cleaning agents, abrasive scrubbers, or excessive water, as these may damage the print and finish. With proper care, your wallpaper will retain its colour and elegance for years to come.
Provenance
Janakpuri Jharoka draws inspiration from the visual richness of Madhubani art and the architectural charm of traditional Indian jharokas (ornamental windows). The design frames intricate folk motifs within structured borders, evoking the feeling of looking through a decorative window into a world of storytelling and symbolism.
Rooted in the Mithila painting tradition of Bihar, Madhubani art is known for its dense patterning, bold outlines, and narrative depth. In this mural-style composition, classical motifs are arranged with architectural rhythm, creating a balanced interplay between ornamentation and structure.
Produced using advanced Latex printing with non-toxic, water-based inks, the artwork is rendered on premium materials including canvas, handmade paper, and silk. Seamlessly aligned panels ensure the mural flows continuously across the wall, transforming interiors into culturally rich visual spaces.
