Etymology

“Mukharvind” derives from Sanskrit, meaning ‘lotus-like face’, a term used in Vaishnav and Pushtimarg traditions to describe the sacred visage of the deity revealed through adornment. “Swarna” means ‘gold’, signifying auspiciousness, sanctity, and divine radiance, often associated with ceremonial ornamentation and temple finery
