Etymology
Provenance
Drawn from the Pichwai painting of Nathdwara, this Krishna painting captures Krishna, not as a symbol, but as a moment: poised, adorned, and surrounded by the kind of gilded stillness that holds a viewer longer than they planned. The gold accents aren't simple decoration. They're punctuation. It tells you where to look, and then leaves you alone with the silence.
His form: elegant, playful, unbothered is framd by blooming lotuses and lines so fine they feel like a breath. Every detail is intentional. Every colour holds history. And still, nothing about this feels old. It's ancient work made fresh by the hand that painted it.
Hang it where you need stillness. Or movement. Or a little gold that doesn't feel showy. This is Indian art that's rooted but not stuck. A piece that doesn't need translating.

Even better in person. This is a really beautiful piece. I took it to the frame shop and while there choosing a frame, every person that came into the shop commented on how beautiful it is. And it really is beautiful. And great communication from the seller. Much appreciated. Namaste.

Beautiful painting! Great service
The painting is beyond BEAUTIFUL. I even got in between process pictures . The only thing is I wish they had an option of pre-framed painting. Would have loved that.
