The Raas Leela, Krishna's divine dance with Radha and the Gopis, unfolds here in perfect symmetry. Not in straight lines, but in a circle. Because this kind of love has no beginning, no end. Just surrender, and return.
Hand-painted in the traditional Pichwai style, this piece wraps the celestial dance into a single frame. Radha and Krishna stand at the centre, surrounded by the swirling Gopis, each brushstroke moving in tune with the divine. Gold foil flashes from the jewelry, halos and ornaments, not to impress but to sanctify.
The palette, indigo reds, warm saffron, verdant greens, all mirror the vibrance of the Vrindavan forest at dusk. It's a place where the spiritual becomes sensual and the sensual becomes sacred. You are not meant to just look at this piece, but to step into it.
