Frequently Asked Questions
Each Brass Sculpture in our collection is cast and finished by hand, following centuries-old techniques that originated in India’s temple workshops. The process is deliberate and patient, involving molten metal, clay molds, and weeks of polishing. What you receive is not a factory product but a piece of heritage made by human hands, carrying the weight and warmth of tradition.
Every piece is made from solid brass. We do not use resin, hollow molds, or artificial coatings. The density, weight, and tone of true brass are part of its character, something that can only be achieved through authentic metalwork.
Our Brass Statues are sourced directly from India’s legendary metalworking regions, such as Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. Each artisan community has its own distinctive casting style and symbolic language, passed down through generations.
Brass ages beautifully. To maintain its natural luster, gently polish the surface with a soft cloth or a small amount of brass cleaner when needed. Avoid harsh chemicals and store the sculpture in a dry area away from prolonged moisture. A bit of patina is natural and part of what makes brass feel alive.
Many of our Indian Brass Sculptures depict deities like Shiva, Ganesha, or Buddha, as well as animals and mythic figures that carry symbolic meaning. But belief is not required for appreciation. These pieces stand as art, heritage, and culture, reflections of India’s craft and philosophy. Whether you see them as sacred icons or as timeless design, they bring presence and meaning to any space.
