Care Guide
To preserve the beauty of your wallpaper, keep it away from excessive moisture and prolonged direct sunlight. Dust gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth, and for minor marks, wipe carefully with a lightly damp, non-abrasive cloth without rubbing. Avoid harsh cleaning agents, abrasive scrubbers, or excessive water, as these may damage the print and finish. With proper care, your wallpaper will retain its colour and elegance for years to come.
Aalishan carries the weight of India’s woven past and lays it bare across the wall. The design channels the grandeur of carpets once rolled out in Mughal courts—pieces that weren’t just floor coverings but living testaments to patience and precision. Here, floral flourishes, interlocking vines, and geometric borders are lifted from that lineage and redrawn as a continuous surface, letting the wall inherit the quiet authority of a hand-knotted rug.
The story runs deep: Agra and Jaipur, cities where carpets blended Persian symmetry with Indian motifs, where every flower signaled paradise, every vine promised growth, every border spoke of unbroken continuity. Aalishan doesn’t imitate those heirlooms, it reframes them. What once took months under the weaver’s hand now unfolds across a room in layers of print and pattern, carrying the same sense of devotion, only translated for the vertical plane.
