Provenance
The Kalash has carried meaning in Indian life for centuries. More than a vessel, it is a marker of ritual, celebration, and continuity. In weddings, festivals, and temple offerings, the Kalash is filled with water, grains, or leaves and set at the center as a symbol of abundance and welcome. Its rounded body and narrow neck echo the cycle of life and the promise of renewal.
This engraved brass Kalash is shaped from solid brass, a metal long valued in India for its durability and warmth. The hand-etched patterns are not just decorative but reminders of the artisan’s patience and precision. To keep a Kalash in the home is to hold a piece of that living tradition, a blend of daily utility and sacred presence. Whether used in puja, placed as a decorative element, or passed down as an heirloom, it speaks of resilience, offering both function and timeless grace.

About: Standing Soapstone Lampshade

I am over the moon with this beautiful piece. I had been looking for something to put on my parents headstone as none of us live near enough to tend it regularly. As they lived in India for many years, when I saw this I thought it would make a fitting tribute. Brahm Collection were brilliant, I can't thank them enough. When I'd done it my heart filled with joy and I know they would absolutely love it. Thank you all xxx
