This artwork reimagines the timeless architecture of Jaipur's historic havelis through the distinctive language of Indo-Bauhaus design. At its centre stands the iconic jharokha—the projecting balcony that has long defined Rajasthani architecture—surrounded by elegant arches, lattice-inspired windows, stepped forms, and recessed niches. Together, these familiar architectural elements are distilled into a harmonious composition of clean geometry and balanced proportions.

For centuries, jharokhas and intricately carved jali screens have shaped the identity of Rajasthan's palaces and merchant residences. Beyond their decorative beauty, these elements were thoughtfully designed to provide ventilation, filter sunlight, and preserve privacy, reflecting an architectural tradition where craftsmanship and functionality existed in perfect harmony. Their rhythmic repetition evokes the layered façades and sunlit courtyards that define Jaipur's built heritage.

Inspired by Bauhaus principles of simplicity and structure, the composition transforms these historic forms into an elegant arrangement of circles, arches, rectangles, and linear planes. A warm palette of sandstone, coral, burnt sienna, charcoal, and ivory echoes the distinctive tones of the Pink City, creating a contemporary artwork that celebrates Rajasthan's architectural legacy through modern geometric expression.
