Provenance
This Buddha statue, hewn from white marble and left partly raw, carries a sense of stillness and peace that's been earned, not imposed. The stone is cool to the touch, imperfect and honest, with its surface still left rough in places, as if the sculptor chose to stop before finishing, letting silence fill in the rest.
Framed by the Dharma Wheel, the Buddha sits in quiet meditation, eyes soft, hands still. The wheel behind him doesn't just symbolise movement; it reminds us that understanding is a journey: one that turns slowly, again and again, through study, action and presence.
At a glance, it's simple. But the longer you sit with it. The more it gives. There's a clarity in the minimalism, a kind of austerity that asks nothing of you but your attention. The white stone chooses not to shine, but absorb. It listens.
Place it on a desk, a shelf, or an alter, and it becomes a quiet center of gravity. A companion for pause. A reminder that peace isn't always polished, but it's always possible.

About: Standing Soapstone Lampshade

I am over the moon with this beautiful piece. I had been looking for something to put on my parents headstone as none of us live near enough to tend it regularly. As they lived in India for many years, when I saw this I thought it would make a fitting tribute. Brahm Collection were brilliant, I can't thank them enough. When I'd done it my heart filled with joy and I know they would absolutely love it. Thank you all xxx
