Yasoda, Krishna's foster mother, holds both Krishna and Radha in her arms, bringing together the central figures of the Vaishnava devotional world within a single maternal embrace. The image belongs to the Kalighat tradition, a genre of painting that emerged in 19th-century Kolkata, where artists adapted classical iconography for a popular urban audience with broad, confident brushwork and simplified forms. The original was commissioned for a royal collection in the hill kingdoms of northern India and now hangs in the Cleveland Museum of Art. This print is the only way to own it.
